Abstract
'LOCATER' is an a effort towards intelligent and easy retrieval of software components on the Internet, wanted by a user. 'LOCATER' is a subset prototype of a larger software environment, 'DISHA'. It provides the user with a mechanism to implement relevant information capture and intelligent searching with optimum search criteria requirements.
