Office of the President memorabilia collection : 2019 additions
Scope and Contents
The collection consists of assorted items acquired by the Monmouth University Office of the President during the tenures of presidents Paul G. Gaffney II (2003-2013), Paul R. Brown (2013-2017), and Grey J. Dimenna (2017-2019). Although the item-level provenance is largely undocumented, the majority of the contents appear to date from the Gaffney and Dimenna administrations. Three-dimensional objects comprise the bulk of the holdings, but the collection also includes a few textual and visual materials (analog and digital). Overall, the items commemorate activities, locations, organizations or indidviuals associated with one of these three executives, the Office of the President, and/or Monmouth University at large.

The collection was initially processed by the Monmouth University Library during the 2019-2020 academic year.
The first machine-readable finding aid for the collection was written and encoded in October 2019 using the ArchivesSpace v.2.6.0 open source data management system.
