A two-page handwritten letter with stamped postal envelope from Jeannette [Maura Levy] Kearns (alumna, Monmouth Junior College class of 1936 ) to Michael S. Maiden, editor of the Monmouth University Magazine. The letter responds to "Humble Beginnings," a feature story that was authored by Maiden and published in the 2008 Winter issue of the Monmouth University Magazine during the school's 75th anniversary year. The correspondence recounts some of Kearns's personal experiences while she was a student at Monmouth Junior College.
