Kim Lombardi

2002(SOPHOMORE): Appeared in all 41 games, including 40 starts... Pitched in 21 games, including 16 starts... Posted a 7-10 record with a team-low 3.48 earned-run average... Struck out 61 batters... Hit .277 on the season... Ranked third with 31 hits and 20 RBIs... Scored 17 runs... Led team with 139 putouts...Ranked second among the Hawks with a .994 fielding percentage... Earned first victory of the year vs. Yale, striking out six in nine innings... Posted three straight complete game shutouts at Fairleigh Dickinson, vs. Sacred Heart, and vs. Mount St. Mary's, striking out a total of 12 batters... Also went 2-for-3 with two runs scored vs. Sacred Heart, while going 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI vs. Mt. St. Mary's.

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-sport athlete at Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic High School... Earned four letters in softball... Posted an 82-14 career record on the mound for the Fighting Irish... Set school records for wins (82), batting average (.531) and hits (149)... Led team to state title in 1998 and 2000... Led team to Shore Conference title in 2000... Earned All-Monmouth County, All-Shore Conference and All-New Jersey honors as a senior... Also garnered three letters in field hockey.
