Ted Kutrumbos, recently of Interlaken, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 1, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.

Ted was born and raised in Asbury Park where his parents owned the Little Campus restaurant on Main Street. A gifted athlete, he played football at APHS and coached Pop Warner. He loved the beach and was a lifeguard for many years. It was there he met the love of his life, Nancy. They later married and lived most of their life in Connecticut.

Ted graduated from Monmouth University. His passion was the bicycle industry where he was responsible for developing the Cannondale brand.

Ted was predeceased by his parents Lambert and Anita (Darvirris) Kutrumbos. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Nancy (Smock) and believed his greatest accomplishment was his boys, Adam, Brian, Peter and Matthew. He is also survived by his brother Deno Kutrumbos, of Winter Park, CO and Anna Maria, FL, his nephews Teddy of Denver and Nicky of Winter Park, CO, and many beloved aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, Ted would like those who wish to contribute to donate to the Boys and Girls Club of Asbury Park at http://www.bgcmonmouth.org/#!donate.
