Mary Ann Metta AGE: 77 • Howell

Mary Ann Metta, 77, of Farmingdale died peacefully on August 28, 2015. Born in Elizabeth she lived in Linden before moving to Farmingdale many years ago. Mrs. Metta was a registered nurse with Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune for over 35 years before retiring. She graduated in 1957 from Monmouth University, Valedictorian, with a BSN degree.

Surviving are two sons, Dante Metta and Frank Metta and his wife Stephanie; six siblings, Roselie Piana, Joe, Sal, John, Anthony and Matthew Conti.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Sept. 1st, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at MASTAPETER FUNERAL HOME, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Relatives and friends kindly meet at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Road, Bayville to celebrate a 9:30 am Funeral Mass. Burial will follow to St. Joseph Church, Toms River.
