AGE: 18 • Milltown
Nicole E. Surace of Milltown, NJ passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013. She was 18 years old. Born in New Brunswick, she was a lifelong resident of Milltown. Nicole was a graduate of Spotswood High School in 2013. She was an All Star cheerleader for 13 years, and also with the Spotswood High School Varsity Cheerleaders where she was a past Captain. While in Spotswood High School, she was a member of DECA, where she competed with other schools in marketing skills. Nicole was a first year student at Monmouth University, majoring in marketing. She was a member of the University Community Service Club and recently helped serve Thanksgiving Dinner at a local shelter. Nicole will always be remembered for being full of life and joyful.
She passed away with her longtime boyfriend, Jeffrey Szatkowski of Spotswood. She is survived by her parents, Michael & Diane Surace of Milltown; a brother, Kevin M. Surace at home; maternal grandparents, Gary Stevenson and Sally Pohlman of Dingmans Ferry, PA; paternal grandparents, James and Roseanne Surace of Allentown, NJ; Aunts and Uncles, James & Laurie Surace, Steven & Nancy Surace, Donna and Tony Costa and Brenda and Keith Minahane. Also survived by cousins, Jimmy, Stephanie, Justin, Nick, Nicholas, Michael, Tara, Adriana, and Vincent.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, 2-5pm & 7-10pm at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Thursday 11am at St. Bartholomew RC Church in East Brunswick, NJ. Interment, Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick, NJ. Memorial contributions to the Susan G. Komen Foundation , P. O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265 would be appreciated.
