Abstract For my fiction thesis, this is the first 50 pages of a manuscript in progress called Corpseman. The main character is a war veteran who goes by Easy, now a heroin addict on the streets of Chicago after his time in the military leaves him burned to the point of unrecognizability. Unable to find traditional income, he becomes a fixer for a local drug lord which sets him directly on a path with a streetwise sex worker called KitKat.
