The Monmouth County Medical Society (MCMS) has been serving the needs of physicians and their patients in Monmouth County since 1816. Monmouth County Medical Society members are dedicated to a healthy Monmouth County by working to ensure the sanctity of the physician/patient relationship.

MCMS has over 500 members representing all medical specialties. The purposes of this Society are:

To organize the licensed physicians of Monmouth County.

To unite with other component Societies of the Medical Society of New Jersey; and through it, with other state associations, to constitute and maintain the American Medical Association.

To advance the art and science of medicine; elevate professional standards; safe-guard the interests of, and promote friendly relations among members of the medical profession.

To promote the betterment of public health; and to enlighten and direct public opinion in regard to the problems of medicine and health for the best interests of the people of Monmouth County.

To enhance the high standards of medical ethics and honorable conduct by and among the members of the medical profession.
