Siperstein's West End Paint Co., Inc
administrative history
From his earliest days as company founder at the turn of the century, Nathan Siperstein worked tirelessly as a painter, paper hanger, decorator and plasterer based in Siperstein’s original Jersey City, NJ location on Grove Street. After years of honing his skills, he began to understand the importance of selling the paint products he had formulated with his father and grandfather to better accommodate his friends and customers, and keep them coming back. At this point, Nathan’s uncompromising perseverance began its evolution into what would soon becoming a household word—Siperstein’s!
Today, Siperstein’s remains a family business and is managed by eight partners ors, each whom plays an integral role in the company’s success. Continuing a long-standing tradition of achieving unmatched customer satisfaction, Herbert, Steven and Alan Siperstein, along with Larry, Todd and Gary Katz, Bruce Cozewith and Steven Lurie, are all committed to “hands on” management principles at the store level in order to respond quickly and effectively to varying customer preferences.
Siperstein’s dedication to customers aptly corresponds with its dedication to the community. Siperstein’s routinely demonstrates an uncommon generosity to schools, churches and temples, and has received numerous awards of appreciation from organizations such as the Yeshiva of North Jersey, St. Bridget’s Church and School in Jersey City, NJ, and many others.
Although times have changed, Siperstein’s devotion to personalized service and value pricing hasn’t in the least. No wonder Siperstein’s has grown to become the biggest paint store chain in New Jersey, and one of top 50 specialty retailers in America, according to the National Home Channel News publication.
When you visit Siperstein’s, you can be sure of receiving a wide selection of top name brand products, consistently low prices, and the extraordinary level of customer service to which Nathan Siperstein once aspired.
